Fire Grants
Forestry, Fire, and State Lands offers three grants through their fire program. The Fire Department Assistance Grants represent a strong collaborative effort to provide assistance to Utah’s fire departments. The division also provides financial assistance to help communities reduce their risk of wildfire through the Community Wildfire Defense Grant and the Wildland-Urban Interface Prevention, Preparedness, and Mitigation Fund.
Great Salt Lake Research Grants
Forestry, Fire, and State Lands currently offers one to two year research grants that focus on hot topic issues facing Great Salt Lake. This research is used by lake managers to provide better understanding of the complex issues on Great Salt Lake.
