Firework Restriction Order
On June 25, Governor Cox issued an executive order expanding the authority of the State Forester to implement restrictions related to fireworks. For the July 24th holiday, municipalities have the option to opt into a restriction if extreme wildfire conditions still exist in their region. Those municipalities wishing to enter into restrictions can do so by visiting the order and following the steps to opt in.
