Jordan River Recreational Access Grant RFP
The Jordan River Recreational Access Grant RFP has up to $2,000,000 in funds available for improvements that provide access into and on the Jordan River, and could include things like boating, fishing, swimming, wading, etc. This grant is available to cities, counties, and the Commission, and requires at least an equal match of funding. This funding is from a one-time appropriation through Senate Bill 130 by the Utah Legislature in the 2026 General Session. Applications are due September 30, 2026.
Jordan River Improvements Grant RFP
The Jordan River Improvements Grant RFP has up to $450,000 in funds available for a wide variety of improvement and enhancement projects and programs, including maintenance and education, across the entire Jordan River Parkway. This grant is available to any organization. A match is not required, but will be a key consideration in competitively awarding funding. This funding is from the ongoing Jordan River Recreation Area appropriation, and with changes resulting from SB 130, is now available across the entire length of the Jordan River Parkway. Applications are due October 30, 2026.
