Lone Peak Wildfire Resources

Is a state government program operated under the State of Utah, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands (FFSL). Firefighting Resources

Lone Peak Wildfire Resources include a range of specialized crews and equipment designed to meet Utah’s fire management needs and assist in national emergencies:

These resources are available for response throughout the United States and are ordered through the Northern Utah Interagency Fire Center (NUIFC).

Operating Under Agreements

Lone Peak Wildfire Resources operate in accordance with:

  • The Cooperative Fire Management Agreement (CFMA): This agreement defines mutual responsibilities and cost-sharing arrangements between agencies.

Agencies participating in the CFMA have agreed to accept each other’s billing rates and procedures unless specific exceptions are outlined in the AOP or a separate Financial Business Plan.
