Story This tree was planted by Edwin Whiting, a fine nurseryman in 1861. He secured this tree from the mountains east of Springville along with many others. He always marked the trees so that they could be set the same way they stood in the canyon. It was marked by the Daughters if the Utah Pioneers, Camp Aaron Johnson March 20, 1941.
