Story This tree is the first Pecan Tree planted in Utah. It was sent by George Bringhurst while on an L.D.S. Mission to the Southern States to this nephew, Arch Bringhurst, who planted it on the street in front of the family home-- now owned by Rubin Clinger. This happened in 1897. Arch's widow still lives in Toquerville.
